And what better way to celebrate the New Year than with a new game?
Xenophon was a game that emerged naturally when I was designing Historiography, and the common DNA shows. Both are highly modular, simple narrative cooperative games that focus in giving very specific experiences.
That is where similarities end.
In Historiography, you build something. It is about the new, the bizarre, building something great, making a Legacy. Xenophon is about dealing with loss, impossible odds, attrition and what you make of your life after your trials.
